cybridi·ty (sbrd-t) n.

Synchronous interaction between two or more people that incorporates both mediated and face-to-face modes of communication within a given frame of time and/or space.

Cybridity is a blog operated by four students from the University of Waterloo‘s English 794 “Cyberbodies” course. It has been created to document their progress through the Winter 2011 term, collect interesting online materials, and discuss the topics of technology, posthumanism and communication over a variety of media.

The blog was disbanded in early 2012, but has since been updated for use in Ryerson University’s CDPR 114 Reputation Management course.
